Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

Eligibility for Admission
i. Students passing SSC and HSC examinations in Commerce / Science / Humanities group or equivalent and obtaining at least two second Divisions or minimum CGPA of 3.0 in the Scale of 5 can apply for admission into Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).
ii. Students with good academic records from ‘O’ and ‘A’ levels are encouraged to apply to BBA program. At least 5 subjects in ‘O’ levels and 2 subjects in ‘A’ levels with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 in the scale of 5 are required for admission.

Admission Test
Candidates seeking admission to BBA will have to sit for a written admission test which is based on English, Mathematics and General Knowledge. In order to qualify, candidates must obtain minimum 40% marks on written admission test. Only successful candidates will be asked for Viva Voce. Finally, candidates will be selected for admission to the program based on the results of the written test and Viva Voce.

Admission Process
Applicants finally selected for admission to the program will be notified for admission process within specific date. They will have to produce original certificates / testimonials and mark sheets/transcripts of all examinations passed at the time of admission. Candidates who have completed the above formalities will have to pay the required admission and other fees for enrollment in this program.

Admission for International Students
International students meeting equivalent admission qualifications for the program are eligible for admission as regular students or as special students for a part of the duration. They can be allowed to transfer credits in this program. In the latter case, these grades and courses that a foreign student achieved will be evaluated against the minimum entry requirements for the desired program at DIU. The university may enroll foreign students under an exchange program established between two universities.

Admission is also open to any candidate wishing to pursue courses or a course as a non-degree student to improve knowledge or acquire new skills. Students are also admitted for specific certificate or diploma courses.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Students having graduation degree from any discipline are allowed to apply for admission to MBA program. For admission to MBA program a student must satisfy the following requirements:
i. Students seeking admission to MBA program must have minimum CGPA 2.5 both in SSC and HSC (or any equivalent background from any group), and CGPA 2.5 or 2nd Division at bachelor level, or
ii. Students from English Medium  background must have 5 subjects in ’O’ levels and minimum 2 subjects in ‘A’ levels. Out of seven subjects minimum four B grades and three C grades are needed. Below C grade is not acceptable. At bachelor level, candidates must have CGPA 2.5 or 2nd division.

Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA)

Students seeking admission to Executive MBA program must satisfy the conditions as mentioned in general admission requirements for MBA. In addition, they must have 3-4 years managerial/ professional job experience and outstanding academic records throughout their career. An executive generally has to complete at least 39 credits to earn MBA degree. The total credit hours applicable to the students studying in this program will be determined by the Director of MBA program or Head of the Department or the Dean of the Faculty.
